AK Motorwerk was established from a passion to help others build the car of their dreams. As auto and motorcycle enthusiasts ourselves, we know you want the best for your vehicle. We started out by helping local forum members and friends. We then went on board with a very large and reputable company from California, Supreme Power. We called ourselves Supreme Power East "SPE" and we worked under that name for about a year. We split ways with Supreme Power amicably and started our own independent shop we have today. AK MOTORWERK! We felt that the Tri-State area needed a more personable and independent shop that will take care and pride in customers vehicles and needs.
Kevin (co-owner and hardware tech) has been a mechanic for over 10 years. Working with large turbos and on anything from carbureted to the newest direct injection found in today's modern vehicles. Alex (co-owner and electronics/software specialist) has been working with circuit board electronics and computer equipment for over 15 years. Trouble shooting the smallest electrical components that everyone knows runs today's newest cars as well as diagnosing error codes with dealership scanning equipment.
No job is too big or too small for us to handle and we are continuously updating our certifications so you can have piece of mind that all the work done on your vehicle is done right.
